We aim to capacitate and develop people with disabilities
Malangeni Development Association (NPO Reg. 102-876 NPO) is a newly activated Non-Profit Organisation that has been dormant since registration in 2012. The aim is to capacitate and develop people with disabilities and surrounding communities by training, character building, and personal development within a number of interactive projects.
It made sense to share a total of over 150 years of disability, wheelchair use, and life experience with those who have nothing, and little or no hope of living a fulfilled life as positive contributing members of society.
A group of us with a long history of planning and running development programmes have been given the opportunity to start a number of development projects in a rural area under “Malangeni Development”. This is a tremendous opportunity to reach those who are all too often forgotten when operating from an urban area.
Malangeni Development Association (in partnership with KMS College & Malangeni Team Building) will be focusing on targeted skills development, character building & motivation, accredited training, venture creation & entrepreneurial development, Creche & Youth Centre, corporate team building, and school group visits.
SUSTAINABILITY - We aim to build a fully sustainable organisation that can deliver meaningful projects and services to both people with disabilities and the surrounding communities.
